Throwback Tuesday: Barcelona

It's finally the last post for my Barcelona trip back in mid October. I know it's been a while since I was there, and the outfit just look too cold to wear right now. However, I hope you enjoy the photos of the city, the festival, the market and the flamenco!

Parador Granada

After two short days in Barcelona, we flew to the south and started our Andalusia trip. The first stop was Granda, the multicultural city with the famous moorish palaces "Alhambra." We stayed in the beautiful and luxurious "Parador de Granada", a hotel that was converted from part of the moorish palace and mosque built between 1332 and 1354. The room was lovely with an amazing view of the famous buildings that makes up the Alhambra site; the garden is so charming with the small fountain and all the ruins, which we took lots of pictures of.

After checked in we took a walk downtown Granada, found lots of interesting Arabic souvenir shops and a great bar for local "Alhambra" beer. Hope you enjoy the photos, see you soon with more of the breathtaking palaces in Alhambra!!

Hola Barcelona

Hi everyone, so I am sharing my Spainish trip as promised! Please excuse my typing if it doesn't make sense; jet lag is killing me since I got back last weekend and I have been either drowsy or tired for the whole week...

Something special about this trip: my old friend from college (who currently lives in Taiwan) had planned this trip a long time ago with her coworker, and at the last minute I decide to join them. So I booked my flight tickets from the States and met them up in Barcelona!

Here are the photos of the first two days of our trip, we took a walk along Passeig de Gracia and La Rambla, the two busiest streets in Barcelona. I really enjoyed visiting the San Jose market and their delicious Iberian Ham. We also dined in the famous restaurant "El 4 Gats", where Pablo Picasso used to visit a lot. Casa Batllo and the concert hall of Catalania look radiant at night! Dali's museum is a bit far but definitely worth the visit!

Hope you enjoy the photos, next stop will be Granada, the famous city of Andalusia and its gorgeous Moorish palace, Alhambla. Till next time, kisses!!
