Zaanse Schans, Netherlands

So continue with our journey in Europe; after a day walking around in the city, we headed to the windmill village just outside Amsterdam (around 20min train ride).  Zaanse Schans is a village packed with windmills, traditional crafts stores and museums. We enjoyed the special scenery and the countryside of Netherlands very much. I was so surprised to see the collies again from my last visit two years ago :) We tried the traditional pancakes and dutch cheese for lunch and I am in love with them (I am drooling now)!!!! Hope you like what I see through my lens of this cute little town. See you soon in our next stop, Bruxelles, Belgium!

Amsterdam

So I have to admit, we spent a lot of time shopping in Dublin to take advantage of tax free, and didn't have a chance to take more photos of the city. But it's a different story in Amsterdam. After all, much money was gone from Dublin shopping and I really want to show Patrick this beautiful city since my last visit two years ago. We took a whole afternoon walking around the city, seeing the canal, plazas, gardens, flowers, and even visited the Heineken museum. Hope you enjoy the photos and can't wait to show you photos from my next stop in Zaanstad. Kisses, xx.

Heineken Experience, Amsterdam

On the last day of our stay in Amsterdam, we were pretty much done with all the sightseeing and have had enough weed and red light district, so we decided to go to the Heineken Museum, since we were not sophisticated enough to be interested in museums of Van Gogh or the tulips…The plan turned out unexpectedly well! After the visit, we were totally educated about how to brew a Heineken beer and how to draught the perfect Heineken (we actually both earned a certificate of it, hooray!!) The museum ticket includes four free beers and we have had redeemed them throughout the trip. As a result, we got buzzed before noon in the museum, quite an experience, uh? Anyways, here are some photos of the visit, and really, if next time you are in Amsterdam, and you wanna get wasted but at the same time being informed (of the knowledge of the beer industry??), go to the Heineken!!
p.s. Please pardon our face without makeup, it was too early in the morning when we left...
