Fabulous Vegas

So glad to know that you all enjoyed the photos from my last post. And yes, I was on the stratosphere tower, but no, I didn't have the guts to go on the rides :( . By the way, I just learned that the Stratosphere tower is taller than the Space Needle in Seattle! I have not yet gone to the top of the Space Needle in Seattle but I really enjoyed the Stratosphere experience with the incredible night view and bright lights all over the city. Besides that, there is a very nice restaurant and a bar on top of the tower with great happy hour selections. For those who plan to visit Vegas in the future, don't forget to put Stratosphere on the list!

Here are some more photos with the Strip, the Bellagio water show, the Tour Eiffel (in Vegas ;p) and the hotel we stayed in. Have a great Sunday!

Vegas!!

In spite of all my complaints about Arizona, there is one thing I like about the state, it borders Nevada!! :) This is not the first time I visited Vegas, but there is something special about this city I can't resist. When in Vegas, anything can happen and n othing seems too crazy, too stupid or too extreme. Since all the sightseeing was done in our previous visits, we decided to take a relaxed schedule this time. we stayed here for 4 days and the daily routine was like: drink -> party -> drink ->  barely sleep -> wake up with bad headache -> drink again... ;)
Hope you enjoyed the photos I took during the first two days of our trip, hope to see you soon with more!!

☀☼ The Saguaro Palm Springs ☀☼

imageSo at the last week of July we started our road trip to Portland. Patrick is on assignment for 4 months and I will just take easy and enjoy the city and the north. We drove five days crossing California to Oregon, and our first stop is the Saguaro Hotel in Palm Spring, CA. I love this boutique hotel and their colorful poolside so much; my only question was why the weather was still so hot although we were 5 hours away from Arizona (110˚F/43˚C)? :-( image
