Alhambra

Before this trip, I never heard of the city of Granada. My friend arranged the travel plans and I was introduced to this hidden jewel of Spain. The second day in Granada we visited the palaces of Alhambra, the Islamic royal palaces and fortress complex built in the 14th century. As you can see in the photos, the view from the mountain is gorgeous and the palace is full of exotic beauty with all the Islamic architects. There were the fountain of lions, the garden of general life,  the filigree walls and the marble columns. I hope you enjoyed the photos, see you on my next post!!

Southern Taiwan, Tainan City

We traveled to Tainan city (southern part of Taiwan) the weekend after I arrived in Taiwan. I was born and raised in Taipei and had not traveled much in Taiwan when growing up. From this trip I explored  this oldest city of Taiwan. Every small road, every wall or every street corner makes a perfect postcard photo! Tainan is not just the oldest city but also gourmet capital of Taiwan! The beautiful scenic, the great food and the southern hospitility all made me fall in love with this place! Hope you enjoy the photos as I do, see you soon! Kisses, xx.

Ancient Glory, Funky Girlies

Photos were taken at the Odeon of Lyon, a Roman theater built in the early to mid second century.
I literally knew nothing about Lyon before I came here; The mere knowledge I have for the city was "old, historical, pretty city with two rivers." Now, each time I visit somewhere in town, I find myself in stunned silence from recognition of yet another tier of the beautiful city.
I earnestly believe that a great city stands for a form of literature in itself; any building, heritage, street or river can be a poem, prose, drama or a novel. As I see it, the Odeon of Lyon is an epic. An epic that chants the ancient glory, the legacy of the Roman Empire and the rise and fall of the city. And us, posing unscrupulously at the oldest heritage site of Lyon, strive to perform a farce, an absurdist comedy for you. I hope you enjoy our presentation of the encounter of the historical and the modern, the clash of the classic and the eccentric!!
