Cassis and the Calanques

Cassis is a very beautiful Mediterranean town near Marseille with the famous calanques. We took a boat cruise at the main harbor and visited the different calanques in the area. The view of the ocean and the cliffs was amazing but my hair was just too messy because of the wind; as the result, none of the photos of me were usable! Anyways I hope you enjoyed the photos! Have a great one!

La Jolla, CA

So this weekend we drove to San Diego for a small vacation. This was the first time I have been in SD and I was in love! The weather is around 78°F all weekend and the sun is very mild and comfortable compare to PHX. We enjoyed walking along the shore looking at seagulls and seals, drinking cocktails at the restaurant patio with the ocean breeze... Here are some photos we took in La Jolla, a hilly seaside community neighboring SD, hope you guys like them! See you soon with more!

Mediterranean Sea, Cassis and Marseille

Isn't the view amazing?! :) When I was editing the photos my mind flew back to southern France and the Mediterranean Sea again...I was lucky to go to Casis thanks to my friend Vanessa (and her friend who has a car and knows how to drive a manual)! Casis is a popular tourist place about 20km away from Marseille, and is famous for its cliffs and the shelter inlets called "calanques".  We enjoyed the beautiful coast and the sea water, and later had a great bouillabaisse (Marseille fish soup) dinner at old port Marseille! Hope you enjoy the scenery through my lens! Have a great weekend!!!
